ACSHA Zoombie Shoot

ZOOMBIE Shoot

ZOOMBIE

Last year (2010) the question I was asked the MOST at the club was, "What is a Zombie Shoot?" (unfortunately, we ended up cancelling the shoot due to poor planning)

Some videos I found that should give you some ideas, for those unfamiliar with what a Zombie Shoot is about.

Each of these videos shows Zombie Shoots that other clubs have done. I am not saying that this is exactly what ACSHA will run. These are simply to give you an idea.

If you watch the Instructor demonstration, and the next shooter, you'll have the gist of this video of various Stage props and set up.

Another video of a stage set up.

Another video set up with Run and Gun emphasis and a frying pan.

A couple of things to take notice of and have in mind:

1. No need to use cover, Zombies don't use guns (for the most part).

2. "Non gun targets" . There may be a target that needs to be sliced or hit (cutting implement will be available if you don't own a sword)

3.Bring 100 pistol rounds instead of the usual 50.

4. Though these videos don't exactly show it, costumes are encouraged. If you'd like to dress like Van Helsing or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, go for it.**

This shoot takes place during the Zombie Apocolypse. Fashion and Social acceptance are out the window. Cover garment is not necessary, WE ARE AT WAR PEOPLE! All ZEDs must be eliminated. Tactical vests, thigh holsters, and machetes are the new black this year.*

*if you do not wish to dress up, that is perfectly fine too.

** Safety is still #1, so make sure you can move freely and have full field of vision with any "costume" you might wear.

(there will be a 3 gun stage where you will use all three guns in one stage ) Bring pistol (100 rounds)

Shotgun (50 rounds of Bird Shot)

Rifle (50 rounds)

Some form of light, as this will be either a Night or Evening shoot.
